Wilmington was settled in 1665 and became its own town in 1730, carved from parts of Woburn, Reading and Billerica. Its minutemen marched to Concord on April 19, 1775. Later the Middlesex Canal cut through town on its way to Boston, and the Baldwin apple was first found here. It still has a small monument on Chestnut Street. Today Wilmington is a commuter town with I-93 running through it, Routes 38, 62 and 129 crossing it, and two commuter rail stations: one in the center and one in North Wilmington.
Homes and the care they need
Homes in Wilmington range from single-family houses on residential streets to condos and apartments. A family home with a busy kitchen needs regular attention to counters, floors and bathrooms. A house that has been lived in for a long time often needs a deeper pass first, to get to closets, trim and fixtures. An apartment between leases needs to be emptied out and cleaned from top to bottom, cabinets included.
Samira asks how you use your home before she suggests anything. The number of people and pets, how often you cook, and when the floors last saw a real scrub all shape the visit.
Covering the whole town
Wilmington is shaped by water as much as by roads. The Ipswich River begins here, the Shawsheen River forms part of the line with Billerica, and Silver Lake, a kettle pond left by the glaciers, draws swimmers to its town beach every summer. The Silver Lake neighborhood sits just off Main Street, which is Route 38, and reaches over the Tewksbury line. North Wilmington takes in much of the northern and eastern side of town, centered on its train station and Route 62.
Samira serves all of it, from the Town Common and the old Harnden Tavern, now the town museum, to the neighborhoods by Silver Lake and North Wilmington. Because Tewksbury and Billerica are both in her service area, Wilmington fits naturally alongside them.
Straight to the owner
You will not be passed between departments. Samira runs this small business herself, so the person answering your text is the person who knows your home. She explains what she suggests and why, quotes a price up front, and stays reachable by text after the visit. She speaks Portuguese and English.
Next steps
Start with a deep cleaning if the house needs a reset, or set up recurring house cleaning to keep it steady. For a sale or a lease ending, there is move-out cleaning, and businesses can ask about office cleaning. Samira also works in Tewksbury, Billerica and Andover, each of which borders Wilmington.
